And then there's the reality: Accused killer Raoul Moat eludes cops: fugitive gunman leaves behind letter, tent on run from police

DHS will be OK as they've got ear defenders, comfy matts and lots of water in those backpack canteens. Chap on the right might get a sunburn though.

“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

They have also been leaving their ammunition lying around for the public to find, 20 round magazine of .223 was left in one of the properties they searched.

It may not be bright but it is not uncommon.

What appears to be a little LESS bright are those walking around, armed to the teeth, wearing white T shirts and jeans........... There is obviously a strategic reason but I just can't see it. As for those wrap around sun shades............... and a rifle PLUS pistol, well !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now Peter - you and I know police need to be fully 'tooled up' to deal with incidents such as this:

Burton News & Staffordshire Newspaper | Burton On Trent Local Newspaper Headlines | Daily Mail | Boy, 13, sparks armed swoop
