    Police rifle

Pretty good shot of a current Britishicon police rifle just dropped on the wires here:

Not an enforcer - but its successor I suppose. Any thoughts? Remington 700 TWS?

From today's hunt for Mr Moat in the North East.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Is this what you'd call a Police 'sniper'?

The two rifles pictured in the foreground are Tikka T3 TAC's with the optional extra large bolt knob.

    Tikka T3 TAC

I have a T3 - a very accurate rifle straight out of the box.

Not sure about the firearm in the background - top left of the shooting mats. It appears to be a sub-machine gun of some form or other.

At least she (I assume its a 'she') has cammo trousers on - almost a 'sniper' then !!!!!
Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

This one is captioned "A female Police Marksman" (maybe it should be Marksperson in today's PC society !!) No mention of 'sniper'

By the way they have sky-lined themselves, they're fortunate that the bad guy only has a shotgun, and not a rifle of some sort....
