    Marlin 39A Scopemounts/rings

I just bought a 39A and it has a nice Simmons Deerfield 4x32 WV scope, problem is, it's sitting on an old set of Holden Ironsighters. They're like the Weavers, with the extra hole so you can use the iron sights. They're mounted right to the receiver top and they put the scope way too high.

Anybody know of a good set of med mounts and 1" rings that will fit?

Use a Weaver #90 base. It fits the factory holes (2). It has enough length to accomodate varied ring spacing. It will accept either tip-off ( 3/8" clamp type) rings, or standard Weaver style rings. Many manufacturers make Weaver style rings that look a lot better than original Weavers. I like the Warne rings, but they are about twice the price of Weavers. Go to your friendly full line gun shop (not mass merchandiser) and they should be able to fix you up.
