    Unhappy CMP board... again!

Well, AM I the only one that has about given up on using the CMPicon Carbine forum? EVERY time I try to use it, I get the "spinning wheel of death" and it times out with "unknown database error" or some such nonsense. I would say that one time in 10, it actually works for me. Is there something I am doing wrong to p*ss off the gods of the internet?

I had to same problem for a while. Don't know the cause, but I fixed it and haven't had an issue in about a week. It acted my old shortcut was no good. I actually googled "CMPicon forums", and then went in through the link that came up. When the site came up I deleted my old favorite and added the new link at it has worked ever since.

Don't know what the issue was, as the URL looked the same; but in any case it now works.

I just tried that. Did no good. CMP has been sporadic on my computer. One minute it loads easily, next time it takes forever. Like now.

I read in on of their threads that they are planning to change from Windows OS to Unix. They think that should/will solve the problems.
Can't come soon enough for me.

Just tried it and got into the forums just fine after a few minutes delay. Carbine forum presented the SWOD.

Down for everyone or just me? is a really handy utility for determining if the problem is with your machine or the web site.

It appears they might have migrated to the new system, cause when you get in it's really fast. However, it's still prone to overload.
Only time will tell.... At least the old system held up until most of us got our Carbines ordered....
