    anybody have any idea what type of grips would be correct for this gun?
    i know the plastic grips are not factory but i am looking for something that would be closer than what i have now.....

    any suggestions?

    Colt shipped 10,000 of these Government Models to Argentinaicon in 1927. They did not have external serial numbers on the frame. The SN was stamped on the frame under the main spring housing. After the initial shipment, Argentina bought small lots of Government Models thought the period until they built their own plant after WW II... I have owned several throughout the years. For a while I owned a matching pair that had consecutive serial numbers that were built in 1935.... Yes, they came with walnut stocks...
