    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.     Charlie you learned me something today I have only seen the green paper used on stacks of buttplates and the like from eBay sellers who happen to have every possible code in there cache of nos parts in never ending supply.
    Don't mind me now that it's winter and I'm back to my little rifles I feel like every part I see for sale is fake, half of the rifles I see are fake and it really doesn't matter because it all cost the same

    How does one trace CMPicon serials back?I just bought a 2001 CMP white bag carbine from a club.I would love to get some papers for it.
