Parker Hale T4

I recently came across a Parker Hale No4T rifle. The shop that had it thought it was a "bubba" but a nice one. There are no other makrings except a serial number on the bolt ans The Parker Hale 4T marking on thebarrel. What is the difference between these and the Enforcers? Anyone know how many P-H 4Ts were built?

The Parker Hale T4 and the almost identical AJ Parker "Excel" are typical 1st generation target rifles. Whereas an Enforcer uses a military L39A1 forend with top handguard, the T4 and Excel use a variety of custom-made open top target forends, Parker Hale made its own 7.62mm barrel, in a variety of lengths. AJ Parker tended to use the same Enfield barrel as in the L39A1/ Envoy, etc.

T4s are quite common in UK. I've seen T4 numbers up to about 750, but have a feeling that probably less than 500 actually sold.

Most of the 7.62mm Enfields are similar, as many of the military and Parker Hale components are shared between all of the models.
