Can a US Rifle be Sold to a Person in Canada?

Perhaps someone here knows what's involved in selling and transferring a rifle from the US to Canadaicon. I have a M1917 Rifle that a buyer in Canada want's to purchase. I currently have a C&R permit, and am in the US. Does it require special permits, or is it even possible? Hopefully someone here has run across this before and can help. Thanks.

Yes, but it needs to be imported through an FFL who can export it to Canadaicon ..

We have used Questar International (click here) for years, although I believe there are others who do it as well ...

    Regards,
    Doug

Thanks for the response, and the website link, Doug, I really appreciate the information. I'll check it out to see what's involved and get back to the buyer.

I've done it twice now, working with sellers in the U.S. to bring milsurps to Canadaicon. From my side, as the buyer, it is extremely easy and based on feedback from the sellers, they had absolutely no issues whatsoever either. I used someone here in Western Canada who handled the whole thing. PM me if you want more info.
