Sad loss of Chris Steed (Steed & Perrins)

Thought I,d post this here as I know some members will know of UKicon RFD, Chris Steed, (Steed & Perrins).

Chris passed away on Sunday whilst walking his dogs, only found out just now after a call to his wife, she said she is tying up a few loose ends and should be back to normal in a week or so.

I said I would contact other RFD,s to let them Know of the situation, if anyone can do the same who read this thread.

    Very sad news...

That's very sad news indeed. Chris was a real gentleman and a font of knowledge. I bought a couple rifles from him just last year and never imagined I wouldn't be seeing him again...

    Sincere condolences to his wife,

    Mike
