    Question Colt magazine ???

    Fellas, more than a few of my Colt 20 round magazines have an I inside a U on the edge. Who made these magazines? TIA

    I did find that UI for Colt is Okay Ind. Is this correct and if so, what does the UI stand for???

    If you have any with the black plastic follower and the floorplate marked
    [Colt logo] CAL.5.56MM
    COLT'S FIREARMS DIVISION

    look on the inside of the mag on the right side in the middle just below the feed lip. You will find an Okay logo.

    I have four with the Okay logo inside four with numbers stamped inside like 6 and 8 and four with the UI. Thanks for the information. I learned sumpin today!
