Original windage adjustable sights on M1917's - How rare are they?

I was reading about how some Remington M1917's produced in mid 1918 had sights adjustable for windage. The pictures I saw looked pretty cool.
It said that they were rare but I was wondering how rare are they?

Rear sights with windage & elevation

I remember that there was a way to adopt the sight leaf and with modifications both the sight leaf and windage adjustment from the M1918A2 BAR sight leaf. This required some work to the M1917 rear sight base area. This modification using the M1918 rear sight could not be used in matchesAttachment 21246
