    M1907 sling dates/production

Were there any M1907 slings produced and dated after WWI but before WWII?
When did WWII production of M1907 slings start, 1941 or 42?

    Thanks,
    Jarrod

I have not seen any dates on a M1907 leather sling after WWI. They started with the WWII production in 1941. The frogs were brass but changed to steel due to the need of brass for ammunition.

Boyt, Milsco, and Hickok all made WW2 Model 1907 slings with date stamps on them. But I can't recall ever seeing one dated 1941.

Here's an older web page with info and photos of the first production 1907 slings in WWI through the end of WWII -
