That looks like a winner Boos! I also think they're about as much fun to shoot following my 1911A1. The double action/single action is really cool and Walthers still uses that same design on their modern guns - If you have a misfire you don't have to pull the slide to clear the round, you get to pull the trigger again and it re-cocks. Most every round goes off the second time it's struck.

I don't know what makes yours look like an RC - I've seen RC's from really bad to almost mint.

    I have a postwar P-38 (P-1) with import markings that I shoot a lot.

I also have a 1943 all matching, great condition that I've only put a magazine or so through. I bought it from an acquaintance for $600.

I owned a P-38 several years ago and can vouch for them being really great shooting pistols. I've recently been looking for another one and from what I'm seeing, you made a very good buy on this one. Enjoy.

I bought an E. Germanicon HP years ago it was a turned in police gun. I like it a lot and it has been a great tool and teaching aid. It is an all steel gun too.

It came with three war time magazines off the back of SGN.

The mans P38 is no RC

RC's are all matching and like new. Bores are normaly like new the color is a deep black/blue
