    N.r.a. Sporter stockman

I just won on ebay {310308198435} what appears to be a very nice [described by seller as custom...perhaps Kokulus?] completely inletted [of course that means FINAL minor inletting is always to be expected] 1903 N.R.A. Sporter stock. QUESTION! Whom among our esteemed brotherhood does the final kind of work needed to complete it. I would like the work to duplicate an original Springfield Sporter stock finish, it is for my grandson and funds are tight and I don't feel he is ready for using the real thing. I have a beautiful 1929 N.R.A. barrelled action that is 0 at the muzzle and throat. It has been professionally reblued to duplicate Springfield's bluing and looks good. He however forgot to polish raceways...duh. So what say you, LOOK AT THE EBAY ITEM NUMBER ABOVE, SEE WHAT I GOT AND TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK!!! Then recommend an affordable stock man. Thanks in Advance Jerry

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. "perhaps Kokulus?" I have one of his, and it was trimed of turning pads. I don't think this is one of his.
