Being as how my little guys burnt the barrels of my last two AR's I figured I'd build one just for me. I took a Bushy XM 15, shortened the barrel 1 tread and re-cut the chamber to min spec, lapped the bolt, cleaned up the two stage trigger to a clean 3lbs break and then had to give some thought to sights, I always liked the Redfields palma and had one laying around so what the heck, a little milling and a few screws and bingo, backs done. I found a neat front sight at a local gunshow, so I mounted it on two hardened rods and fabricated a clamping block so I can adjust the sights according. I managed to set everything up so that at 100 yards my cheek fits exactly on the stock. I'll be taking it up to the range as soon as time permits. I keep you all posted regardless of how the test drive goes-SDH
