I'll ask him. He couldn't compete with all the cheap Chinese cases on the market which may look nice but don't last long. I was smart enough to hang on to a few of his cases and drag bags. I inventoried them for many years. I've even got one for the L4 Bren that was an experiment and fits absolutely perfect. Good South Carolina cotton duck and Fastex buckles are hard to beat. He made me a custom case for the M1A1icon TSMG and L2A3 too.

Question of the day. I'm doing the C3 and C3A1 clones. I have most of the parts just looking for a 1200TX action and M87 action. If any one knows where I can find one please PM me. It doesn't matter if it is in the US, I have a FFL. Same thing in the UKicon, I have a guy lined up to export it for me. I heard there might be some in New Zealandicon. I have relatives that could take possession of it till I can get the export paper work in order.

Why don't you contact G Fulton and ask them? I'm SURE that they'd have this stuff. There doesn't seem to be a shortage of it in the UKicon

There are PH target rifles in the back of guys' gun lockers. Write a little story for the DCRA Marksman magazine and solicit parts. You may be introduced to someone sitting on the motherlode.

Edit - our dearly missed friend in Wayne Mitchell formerly from Saskatchewan had a big collection. His estate is being cleared on a blog (!). There are complete 1200 rifles listed.

Almost. They need the scope mounting bracket cut made and the staggered holes drilled and tapped. Whether they're sufficiently heat treated is another question that I haven't gotten around to answering, yet. One of those projects that's been on the back burner for some time...

I have a set of nos L81 wood with hardware that I ordered from Fultons for a fellow forumer and he stuck me with it. It could be modified I guess with a bit of care as the magazine area is solid. Just a thought. The price is reasonable too. If any interest, give me a shout.

    Marty,

I didn't see them listed. Can you send a link?

    Thanks,

    Brian

Here's a thought Rebel Rouser........ When you get a couple of the bodies, maybe you could do a pictorial essay of the conversion/clone. To be honest, if it's a P-H job, I wouldn't have thought that it'd be overly difficult!

The GunParts bodies are M84 (single shot) and M86. There's more meat on the M87 and hole locations are different. Been looked at by a couple guys. You need a M87 receiver. There were some in the USAicon...don't know who the chap is or even if he's stilll got them. Ron(Canadaicon)
