I believe Paul told me that it was a trials rifle and never issued. Is that right, Paul? Regards, Rick

It was the tool room #32 one of 20 built and completed by (all 20) March 15, 1942. I assume that it was decided after completion a relief area was needed and so the production versions were revised and had the handguard modified with the cut we are use to seeing. Basically the rifle was completed (cotract W-294-ORD-858) 3 months after Pearl Harbor at a cost of $2000 each.

I need only one part to totally restore the 5.36 mil Inland that I bought and showed you that day. Many thanks for all the one on one personal help you gave us!!! I say us because Tammy is 110% into this hobby with and for me.

It was good to meet everyone at the show. I must have spoke with 5000 people the two days I was displaying. Alot of people thought I was going to win but I did'nt the OGCA is a political organization that you have to be in their club if you know what I mean.
