A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I will accept PayPal, Zelle, MO and good old checks (and cash if you want to stop by for a tour!). CLICK BANNER to send me a PM for International pricing and shipping. Manufacturer of various vintage rifle scopes for the 1903 such as our M73G4 (reproduction of the Weaver 330C) and Malcolm 8X Gen II (Unertl reproduction). Several of our scopes are used in the CMP Vintage Sniper competition on top of 1903 rifles. Brian Dick ... "Cheaper Than Dirt" in Fort Worth, Texas has both Greek M2 ammo (Safe for the M1icon) and 8 rd enbloc clips. Prices are very reasonable. I don't know what kind of problems you might have importing the ammo to Canadaicon but I would think you could get the clips. The last I bought were Chinese made but were new and worked good (about .50 cents each).

another M1icon enthusiast... well done buddy! welcome to the club. you'll find yourself falling in love all over again with your Garand each time you pull the trigger

check out this site: DistriCorp English Web Site

click on the ammunition link, and you'll see what they have. I recommend the cartridges with the 150 grn projectiles. you can shoot multiples and not have to worry too much about over-working your action.

    happy shooting!!

I see you're down in SW Ontario....

Check the Calendar (click here) for the Woodstock Gun Show, Orangeville Gun Show and the Ancaster (Hamilton) Gun Show. They should be an easy Sunday morning drive and you'll find ammunition sellers there. I know there's one guy who sells M1icon Garand 30.06 milspec ammo in cans and full enblocs.

    Regards,
    Badger
