Question M52 Hungarian Mosin Nagant PU Sniper - SOLD for $2750 U.S.

Here's one for sale that you can compare to our own 1954 Mosin-Nagant M52 Hungarian Sniper Rifle (click here) entry in the Russian section (click here) of the Milsurp Knowledge Libraryicon.

    Feedback and comments anyone?

GunBroker - Hungarian Mosin Nagant PU sniper Mint and Matching (click here)

Please do not confuse this piece with the current lot of MN snipers being imported into the country. Those rifles are converted re-arsenaled Russian rifles with new production scopes and mounts. This particular piece is not only an original built sniper from the ground up but is of super rare Hungarian manufacture. It is out of an old collection and NOT IMPORT MARKED in any fashion! The rifle is just drop dead mint. The original blue is in 99% condition and the bolt is beautiful and bright. The stock is mint and deeply proofed with the correct Hungarian "02" proof. The piece is 100% matching to include the scope!!! The round receiver is marked "02" over "1953" over the serial number of "BC39XX". The mount on the rifle is correctly "02" proofed and the mount on the scope is also correctly "02" proofed. The scope is mint with crystal clear optics and is marked "41" over "1952" over "524879". To the right of these markings is the serial number "39XX". The scope and mount fit perfectly and are nice, snug and tight. The bore is mint and I seriously doubt this piece has been fired very much if at all. The sniper comes complete with the original cleaning rod, sling, scope cover and action/scope cover. The accessories might be of Soviet manufacture...I am not sure. Shipping is a flat $25 (lower 48 only) to your C&R or transfer dealer's FFL. Payment must be in certified funds and must be made within seven days of auction close...no exceptions. Please feel free to email with any questions you might have on this beautiful piece. Check out my other auctions as I am selling off some other "gems" from my personal collection.

SOLD for $2750 U.S. Reserve Met
