    Having trouble identifying mag catch

Taking apart my CMPicon carbine #181,271 and trying to identify the various parts. Having trouble with the mag catch. According to War Baby, mag catches with horizontal striations had a smooth upper portion. Really early ones had cross hatches on the entire face. Mine doesn't match any of the pictures in the book. Any help in identifying this one would be appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Ray

I thought those were the very earliest pattern. So that would be...Inland?

My thought was early Inland also, but I couldn't find an exact picture in War Baby. Possibly just a manufacturers variation? Did not find any markings either.

In WAR BABY! the drawing is not quite right but it is a Type A variation 1.
I would say WRA if it is unmarked. All the Inlands I have seen are coded. I could be wrong be gut says WRA.

I'll buy that opinion and I'm sure some confirmation will be along shortly.

Could also be one of the rare Underwoods, but those were usually marked.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!
