Hi folks,
I have some minor rust on the interior mag assembly of my 1941 Johnson. I want to take the mag cover off to get at it and from past experience know that it would be infinitely easier to re-insert the mag cover if the fore-end wood were removed (at least with the insertion method I use). Therefore I am seeking advice on removal of the wooden fore-end. Do I just remove the four screws and pull it off, or is there some disastorous, spring loaded complication or mind bending maze hidden there just waiting to give me grief??Information
