    Arisaka Type 99

I just got an Arisakaicon, type 99, 5th series, Nagoya arsenal, intact mum, anti-aircraft sights, very good bore, cleaning rod, serial number in the 12,000 range, all numbers match. Stock has been sanded and refinished. All the metal has been parkerized.
Was the original finish blued? Did the parkerizing devalue it any?
It also came with a Nagoya arsenal bayonet.
I would appreciate any other information about it including the value.
I do not know much about these rifles.
    Thank you

Shame that it has been sanded and parked. It was a nice rifle but to a collector it has lost some value. I have a low three digit series 5 that has the metal in the blue.

They were blued and yes it hurt the value. That is a shame too because intact Mums and matching numbers are harder to find.
