Looks good Frank, I would imagine its pretty cool up there about this time of year! Good time to stay Indoors in your MANCAVE, where I know the heaters are burning.

Hi Rusty, you got that right. I have the wood stove going, it's in the 20's and a good time to be in the MANCAVE working on guns.
I did a Fox SXS resto for a friend to give to his Dad for x-mas. Was Grand-Dads gun and saw alot of abuse and needed a total restoration. Turned out great and everyone was pleased.
I have the "super S'G' stock" started and will add pics to that thread as I complete the work.
In between I'm doing Data sheets and working on a Mosin nagant carbine for my collection. That's another story.
Hope you and yours have a great new years holiday.....Frank

Hi Bill thank you, yes it's a spring tube. Under 14,000, it's one of my favorites.
Happy New Year.....Frank
P.S did you see the "Pawn Stars" with the Mighty Mite?

No I didn't see it. I heard about it though. I don't watch those shows but I may have to look for it on the net just to see it. I heard it was very nice and he wanted 27K for it but was offered 14K??? If he was offered that 14K he should have taken it. I've seen lots of Mites and some that were like new off the assembly line. Even though the Mite is more rare than the Ford GP and the Willys MA they just don't fetch the high prices of those early pre-standardized WWII jeeps like the MA and GP.
I love both my spring tubes. My early Winchester and my QHMC

Okay, just found and watched the episode of Pawn Stars "Pony Up" with the Mite. Yes, very, very nice Mite but not 24K worth of nice. I think the 14K was low and would say more like 18K would have been fair. There are some things that are not correct on that Mite and the information the "expert" gave was wrong. There was 3922 M422 and M422A1 Mighty Mites made. Odd, I don't know the owner either. I thought I knew just about every Mite owner in the States.
