One of my beloved HT's with a Lithgow SMLE which I got for my 18th birthday a long time ago.

Very envious of the HT.

I can't remember what I got for my 18th, but I wish it was a HT.

May be if I am good, Santa might bring me one next year??

For the pic, it appears the the HT is built on a Mk III*. I can't see a mag cut-off.

What year is the rifle and scope?

I didn't get the HT for my birthday, my old man isn't that generous...

The HT is built on a Lithgow 1917 reciever and the Telescopic Sight is dated 1944. It is my pride and joy. I am currently restoring my second HT, which is slowly coming together.
