Does this M1 carbine carrying case look correct- Rice O’Neil Shoe Co. 1944 marked?

I have been trying to find a list of manufacturers of these canvas M1icon carbine carrying cases with no luck.
I got this case 10 years ago and I am wondering if it is original and correct.
    What are they worth today?
    Thanks,
    David

    Thanks JimF4M1sicon and Bill Hollinger.

    Jim great list.
Do you have a similar list for the M1A1icon jump scabbard.

I bought the M1 carrying case back in 2002 for the M1 carbine shown below.
I have not looked for a M1A1 case.
What is a fair price for the M1A1 scabbard, and how difficult are they to find?

I don't know how hard an M1A1icon padded case is to find, I haven't looked in quite a while because I don't need one. But I do know the cost of them has been rising over the years. I know guys hate to hear but, back around 1990, they were $125-$150 in ex+ condition. Last one I saw for sale a year ago was over $400, don't remember if it sold or not. I have seen repo padded cases for sale too, so you need to watch out for those when you find one.

I currently only have three. Two Atlas Awning and one Harian.
These are the M1A1 Scabbards I have had over the years. Alway looking for different ones to add to my list.

    ALTEX PRODUCTS INC.
    1943

    ATLAS AWNING
    1943

    ATLAS AWNING
    1944

    CARTER BROS INC.
    1944

    HARIAN
    44

    HAV. STCH. CO.
    1944

Thanks once again Jim for your help.
Beautiful photos of your nice pieces...my compliments.

I looked on eBay today to see what was available in the M1A1icon jump scabbard category and there was one example....nothing as nice as what you are showing.

One of the comments from the seller was that he has seen pristine examples at $750.
    I have no idea.

I have not thought of trying to find one until very lately, so I am at the early stages of learning.

Back in 2008 I purchased this M1A1 carbine in Canadaicon, 12-42 barrel dated, Sn. 123829.
I believe it is in its original configuration, so that is what has got me thinking about the jump scabbard.

I like accessories....but I have been away from the hunt for a while.

    David

A companion to the M1A1 carbine also manufactured in 1942- Colt M1911A1 rig.

This is the M1A1icon jump case that is being offered on eBay today.
    Starting bid $199.

IN NICE CONDITION, GUARANTEED TO BE ORIGINAL AND GENUINE, WE HAVE A 1943 ATLAS AWNING LIGHT KHAKI M1A1 PARATROOPER FOLDING CARBINE JUMP CASE. THESE ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND AND THIS IS EXTREMELY DESIRABLE AS IT WAS A USED JUMP CASE. THE CASE HAS A WORN THROUGH SPOT EXPOSING THE CLOTH FIBER THREADS AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS FROM ACTUAL USE ON THE MOUNT SIDE OF THE CASE AND NOT VISIBLE WHEN WORN. THERE ARE TWO WHITE SPOTS ON THE HOLSTER IDENTIFIED IN PIC'S WHERE SOME IDIOT (me) ATTEMPTED TO REMOVE A DEEP OIL STAIN WITH K2 SPOT REMOVER. IT IS VERY POSSIBLE THAT THESE SPOTS MAY BE REMOVED BY SENDING TO A DRY CLEANER. DON'T LAUGH I HAVE SENT GREASY U.S. WEB PISTOL BELTS THAT TURNED OUT AMAZING SHOWING NO WEAR AFTER THE CLEANING PROCESS. CASE HAS "KLIK IT" SNAPS AS SEEN IN PHOTOS. I HAVE SEEN MINT CONDITION UNISSUED CASES SELL FOR $750.00. THIS CASE IS PRICED TO SELL!

The principal markings on the exterior of this 12-42 barrel dated M1A1icon carbine.
Supposedly the M1A1 carbines only started to get distributed in 10-42.
