They are bad, I watched a video on the Internet of a trucking company yard, and the tornado was throwing the trailers 400 ft in the air like toys!

It does keep life interesting down here during the "tornado" season.

    No damage here.
Tornadoes are strange and wicked beasts. They will destroy entire neighborhoods, lift over a single house, then annihilate a few more city blocks. The typical path is usually less than 200 feet wide and maybe a mile long.
Naturally, there are a few over-achieving tornadoes such as the Joplin event and the one that took out Oklahoma City. Those are pretty rare.
The DFW metropolitan area is larger than the state of New Jersey. It's pushing New Hampshire and Vermont in land area. We had 13 tornadoes hit 9 cities in 5 counties. 99% of the area was unaffected. Small portions of the cities had hail the size of softballs. Luckily, only 2 serious injuries were reported.

The insurance companies and a select few neighborhoods are hating life but the rest of us were back to normal that evening.

You know what they say - everything's bigger in Texas!

Seriously, the true miracle is that no one was killed or seriously injuried. Thanks for remembering all us in Texas - but many Americans are still suffering from storms from last year. American cities like Joplin Missouri will never be the same. And only God knows where the next major storm will hit...
