this started as a big ol train wreck had a modified 1917 barrel, bolt was stuck in the action {with a live round} yes, the guy shipped it that way, and didnt tell me..gawd.
all but the barrel, and bolt were sent to me in a big box o parts, was drilled 6 times and not straight...lol..now it looks much better, other then a test fire, i havent and wont shoot the rifle, and doubt that the customer will. yes, thats a 17 barrel band..thats what he sent and what he wanted to use...said his rifle in Korea had a 17 band,,,mmk...his rife, his way..
