I cleaned some rifles for an old WWII veteran that I know and I didn't charge him anything because I never do. I like doing things for my friends, especially if they can't do it themselves. He stopped by today and said he wanted me to have this rifle and when I asked him how much money he needed he told me that it was a gift and wouldn't take no for an answer. I was a little overwhelmed because this is one hell of a gift. It is in pretty nice shape(I should have taken pictures tomorrow in the daylight)and appears to be one of the last rifles made in 1921. Most of the parts look like they are from the right period but I won't make a guess on the stock because I'm always wrong. I can't quite make out the cartouche either. It has a single circle P on the pistol grip.
