reloaded .45acp/ar close to webley .455 specs?
This question stems from me looking around for a webley mk vi revolver and only finding shaved within reasonable cost. I heard that factory .45 acp may/may not depending on who you ask blow up in a webley mk vi. Reading that those who shoot the ones converted should do at lower power.
I am new to reloading i.e never done it before and do not have equipment yet. What manuals/equipment would one recomend?

Yep .45 acp operates at above .455 proof pressure and the .455 was designed to use hollow based bullets as the throat is smaller than the chamber. It has been done though and I believe converting .455's to use half moon clips for .45acp was common in the States.
A good load with the .455 265grn lead HBRN bullet in correctly chambered revolvers was 5.2 grains of bullseye I disclaim any resonsiblity should you try this back off 10% and work up. DON'T use this with flat based .45acp 230grain bullets under any circumstances. Oh you'll find your .45 ACP sizing die will happily resize .455 Webley.
