A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Very nice! I think purchasing one of those around here would be frightening for price...you just don't see them here.

The carbine version seems to be harder to find than the larger one for the Garand icon

Nice. I am fortunate enough to have one in similar condition.

Any recommendations on what to do, if anything, about The Green Stuff around the rivets? I have a scabbard for the Garand icon

that has a lot of that green stuff..........

You can carefully scrape it away with a toothpick. Don't use a brush, it tends to push it in instead.
