    Frt Sight N or Z ?

Remember the Type I frt sights with what looks to be a Z stamped on the ridge?
Well were these a Z or sideways N.
    Which maker used these?

Google search just found this info from BrianQ (Plenty good enough for me)

"The sideways N (aka Z) marked front sights were also used by Inland, NPM, & Standard Products."
This would include use by QHMC, as per a listing above his reply.

    Charlie,

I remembered some threads from a couple of years ago. I located them by searching the M1icon/M2 Carbine forum using "sidewards" and "sideways" - I came up with some additional information by BQ in this thread. He also links to another helpful thread from this one. - Bob

That's not unusual for me. I'll see if I can figure out what happened this time! Thanks, - Bob

If this link doesn't work, just search the forum for "sideways" or "sidewards" - sorry!
