    Size of Wallet?

Hello All: see this E-Bay auction:

Authentic US WW2 Irwin Pedersen M1 Carbine Flip Sight | eBay

Oftentimes, I've thought to myself how much money I spend on this hobby. Well...

Enough said! Look what this sight ended up going for!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. He had other IP parts auctions that just closed, and several new items that were just listed. Here's a chance for more IP "learning" to take place. Note that his slide has a "2" on the side. - Bob

You are right! Took a look. The bolt - marking on the lug is identical to the mark on the IP bolt on the IP that I have...and the '2' op slide mark. Interesting!

My opinion of that IP rear sight that sold on eBay is that it's legit. At least it appears nearly identical to mine, except the leaf on mine is marked RG-S'G'. Mine is on an S'G' carbine. Is that the problem that you guys have with it - don't like the S'G' marking being on the leaf of a sight advertised as a genuine IP? - Bob

Here's a composite picture showing the eBay sight along with my S'G' sight.

I agree that it looks real. Too much money though.

Is it the size of the aperture is too big?
