I have a #4MK 1* longbranch marked mp with ph-5c sights.in 308.
Did they have them in 308?
I also have one in 303.

In all likelihood a target shooter had it rebarelled. I believe they were all surplused from the RCMP in .303.

I have run across more than a couple of these, one of which I obtained years ago from an ex Force member. He shot with it while in the Force, so some were probably converted while in service. Some of these have had fake MP marks applied to them of course--is it in "the book"?
