    Inland Division M1 Carbine

    M1 Carbine
    U.S. Carbine
    Cal. 30 M1
    Inland Division
    serial #298xxx
    Inland trigger group

Inland Div. is obscured by the rear sight aperture which is a peep with elevation and windage adjustment
There is Diamond D cartouche on barrel sling swivel
    No bayonet lug

The muzzle brake is a Herter with venting slits on the top

Blued barrel and receiver not parkerized and a swirled chrome bolt

The stock is nicely finished hardwood with english style checkering on the pistol grip sides and fore-grip sides.
The butt plate says WIN-A-MER CO. WASECA MINNESOTA USAicon

Any ideas about background of weapon? When was it made? Why a blued and threaded barrel?

    What about value?

    Thanks T

the value is very limited due to the bubba rework. IMO 400-500 tops

Well it went through a rebuild before someone worked it over. The pad on the stock, the commercial muzzle break and the chromed bolt all distract from the value of your carbine. I would say the value is the total of the parts on it and over all I would guess that it is more in the $300 to $400 range.
