    New Yugo 24/52C

A Yugoicon 24/52C that I got last month at an on line auction arrived at my FFL recently and I got a chance to look it over before it went into his safe for the 10 day waiting period.

The 24/52C looks new under all that cosmolineicon. The bolt, stock and floor plate all match the receiver. The bore is fantastic.

I'll post a range report and more pics after the "cooling off" period.

Here are some of the Auction site pics...

I picked up my rifles last week from my FFL (after the 10 day waiting period), including the M24/52C.

This one is in great shape. Blue is perfect, under all the cosmolineicon, and the bore is fantastic. The wood has few dents and dings, but looks solid. It is matching, except for the upper band.

There is a lot of paper scraps sticking to the top of the barrel and upper band, which makes me wonder if this was wrapped in mummy wrap, or whatever the Yugoslavians used to store these weapons. It will take a heap of cleaning.

At least there is no rust, corrosion or pitting...metal is perfect under all that cosmo.
