    Looking for 7.62x54R Brass

I'm looking for some Canadianicon dealers that regularly stock 7.62x54R Brass, anybody know of any?

I guess I should add that the reason I'm looking is because I just got an SVT and I'm going to need a lot of ammo

You can check with Frontier Taxidermy if he still has some surplus ammo by the case, it probably isn't reloadable but you would get started...

Thanks, I'll check them out! I've got a crate of surplus here, but eventually it's going to run dry (especially if the gov't bans mild steel core ammo ) , I'm looking for a slightly more sustainable solution. I've already got my rig setup for .303 and I should be able to use the same bullets and the same powder that I've been using, all I need is the brass :\

MysticPlayer on CGN can likely get it for you, his prices are consistent with the market norm as far as I can tell.

I use this stuff. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for.

Thanks for the tip Seamus but it looks like Canadianicon Gun Nutz has blocked registration for webmail users like myself and their "contact us" form directs to an invalid e-mail address so I haven't been able to sign up

If you're a member there do you think you could send the admin a message for me about the webmail problem?

Several years ago I had to buy Sellior & Belloit ammo to get reloadable brass.
Now I sometimes see it in MidwayUSA or Graf & son, but I don't know how easy it is to get it out of the US. I guess it is worth looking into.

You shouldn't have a problem shipping sealed ammo from my side of the line. You might try Widners and AIM Supply as well as Midway.
I've got to the point of pulling the steel bullet out of the mil surp and seating spitzers on them. I can't prime and powder a piece of brass for the price of a spam can.

    Good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion Steve, Unfortunately I already know Midway won't ship up north, tried to get some reloading stuff from them a few months back since they have pretty much everything I could ever want.

I fired an e-mail off to the other two companies and I'm hoping one of them has an export license, fingers crossed, neither has the cases I want but both have a good deal on the Czechicon surplus I like!
