ANyone try the Privi 6.5mm bullets in Swedishicon m96's? If so how do they perform(out to 300 yards)?

I used the 139gr softpoints over Rl22. I only shot at 100m but had nice groups. From many reviews I've read though people certainly didn't consider them match grade.

I have used Privi factory loads (139 grain) and they are decent and accurate. I reload using Hornady 140 gr AMAX with 44 gr of 4831SC for my sons Swedishicon 96 and to be honest they are better. I also load 120gr AMAX with 37gr of Varget and again very satisfied. My son's 96 is a very accurate rifle and doubt I will try any new combinations for it.

I also shoot those same reloads in my Tika T3 and that gun also likes those loads.

I don't recall seeing any Privi bullets where I buy the majority of my supplies and shoot factory just to get the brass.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

    Privi 6.5mm bullets

I shoot a LOT of the Prvi 139 grain full metal jacket bullets. I buy them in Bulk for my Ljungman so naturally they found their way into my M96 cases.

They shoot well enough for range use. Best five shot group I've achieved with them was hovering right above an inch. I'd say the average is about an inch and a half out of my Mauser on a normal day @ 100.

Do not seat to the cannelure, it's too short for the Mausers
