    UlitiMak Mount

    Hi,

Any of you guys have any dealings with the UlitiMak mount for the Carbine.
I thought I mite try it on one of my Carbines so I could put Optics on for these tired old eyes.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Dick

I have not tried it on my carbine, but I use a 1X red dot on my flat top .300 Blackout AR with a 16" barrel. Much easier shooting with my 61 year old eyes. The Blackout is like an M1icon Carbine on steroids. 110 grain .308 bullet at 2400 fps.

Yes with a burris fast fire....It cannot be beat...The # 2 model is a hard battery change, but the 3 model is hard to turn on or off...I have both and the lithium bat and the # 2 switch is better... every 8 or ten years you have to change the battery....charlie

It has put joy back into my carbine and AR 15

I agree with C EAST. I have always been an iron sight guy, but at 61, my eyes are starting to suck. The vintage Tasco "Accupoint" shotgun red dot has REALLY improved my shooting with the M4! I may even get a 2x7 red dot for my PTR91 .308.
