There is some nicks from someone prying the oiler out, I won't actually get to see it for 6 weeks. As I was leaving for a 6 week job in Ohio my FFL who I deal with called me up and asked if I like carbines because his brother wanted to sell it. Took a few days to get pics . So shat this job is done I have something more to look forward to beside getting back to my family

I was thinking that the oiler slot looks a little wide, but maybe its just the pic.

The oiler slot does look wide, here is a close up , doesn't look like it's an oiler in there to me, something else. Also I have seen the slots wider then others before.Attachment 51639

Looks like the oiler to me. The cap is at this end. The slot is odd because the stock has been sanded and the slot is slightly down at both sides. They weren't careful how they did it...lost the straight lines of the stock.
