    Muzzle gauge reading

Ok , so while working near Toledo I went to the CMPicon north store and bought a muzzle gauge. These are two pics of the unfired underwood I have and the mint SP I bought in November. The one with the blued front sight is the SP. Can someone tell me what it gauges at ? I mean 0,1,2 etc basically I want to know how to read it correctly thanksAttachment 52562Attachment 52563

    Gauge reading

I think the weapon on the left is slight more worn that the one on the Rt as the Rt one the gauge does not enter the bore as far as the one on the left denoting a tighter bore as I surmise they are tapered ever so slightly the gauges that is.
    I could be wrong.

The one on the right has only been fired at the factory when it was proof fired, the other has been fired but judging from the wear only very little. Would these be considered a 1 or less than 1 ?

Different gauges, different markings. Looks to me like the top of a "0" is peeking out. If so, both are close to a MW=0.25 . It is possible to have a MW=0, although I haven't seen any on a carbine; most new barrels I have seen are in the 1-2 range. The most accurate M1icon RIFLES are LMR, & I have seen several that measured 0.
