Can't see the "Point"

On the othher hand, someone with a bit of nouse could have 200 or so No5 bayonets there. Water-jet cut crosspieces and pommels and you're quids in. Making the catch bolt, nut and spring for No5's is FAR easier than making same for L1A3's.

I would love to hoard them, I could use them as 'pins' in the wall to lay other SLR/FAL bayonets on. But somehow I think the postage would be a killer

A little aside here. They went for £190 in total so in round figures that made each blade about £1 each. I asked the seller to pass my details on to the new owner to the effect that I'd have 8 or so for, say, £8 each or so. The seller declined but offered to sell me a few for £20 each - and that he'd sold them previously for £55 plus post. He declined to pass my details on. Minmd you, so would anyone if they still had zillions left! However he did suggest a deal for the few parts that I had so I declined. I expect these 200 or so will emerge soon AND the seller still has loads left!

Sounds like a bit shady to me. I'd practice avoidance with him just because.
