I recommend the RCBS starter kit as well. When my son started that is what I bought him. They are single stage and they work forever. My Rock Chucker had reloaded hundreds of thousands of rounds over the 20 some years I have been using it and had to replace the ram once. BTW I have a spare waiting if I need it and when I move to Tenn and the kid and I get set up there will be 3 in row so we can set up an assembly line.

Dies. I have Lyman RCBS and Lee The Lee dies may wear out sooner (I have some that have loaded thousands of round) but they are about half price. I also suggest a Lee factory Crimp die for pistol calibers

Trimmers: A must for rifle calibers and though I have a Lyman hand trimmer that I still use for some calibers I broke down and bought a Hornady case prep center. Excellent investment. It makes large amounts of trimming a breeze.

Powder measures: Again all the major manufacturers make them and all though I still have an old Lyman I have set up for 2 calibers in small quantities I broke down and got the Hornady Lock and Load Auto charge. Excellent product. I still use scoopers for my pistol calibers though.

Tumblers: Mine happens to be a Rockford Arsenal and can tumble up to 400 pistol cartridges at a time. It runs about 60 bucks. I use corncob as I can get 5 pounds for 3 bucks. I have also discovered I can cut my tumble time and wear and tear on my media by using a sonic cleaner first. I know others make them but mine happens to be, you guessed it, Hornady. Another great time saving investment investment.

Just a few of the things I use to make reloading a little easier and faster.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.
