Dou k98...

Hello, I would like some feedback on this weapon. I picked it up about 10 years ago at a flea market in Chesnee S.C. FOR $210.00. What do you think of the serial #'s??? It may have been messed with?? Let me know what you think. Thanks Kevin[IMG][/IMG] 4_zps8bfd01ac.jpg Photo by 57beemer | Photobucket 5_zps818eb8ab.jpg Photo by 57beemer | Photobucket

It looks original to me but I have to admit that back in the 80's and 90's there were a few folks who dabbled in Germanicon weapons here in the South East, one in particular from Florida that used to go to great pains to weld up and renumber bolts to make matching rifles so unless I had it in hand to really examine it, it's impossible to tell. At any rate, you bought it at a great price, even for ten years ago. Did the owner relay any known information about it?
