I've bought and used many 30 rd mags marked UU from Korea and they've never failed, not once. Semi or FA, they are dependable.
I'd venture a guess that one of the SEY marked mags is a repo......the only SEY mags i've seen since 1963 were marked and built the same.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I won't tell you why because the fakers out there will start correcting their mistakes, but the split back IS the real deal. Certain characteristics confirmit.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

i'd like to trade one of my SEY hardback magazines +/- cash or additional mags for a WWII era M4 bayonet and scabbard in very good condition. should i just post something to this effect in the WTB/WTT classifieds? doesn't seem to be a lot of activity there.

Yes, it needs to go into the WTB/WTT. They'll probably leave this up though...
    Regards, Jim
