M1 Hammer Spring
I replace the hammer Sping with a new GI Hammer Spring same lenght same style not lkke the Wolff. It started to act up a bit, so i put the older one back in and it acted right. I never used Wolff, but ordered some a really nice GI Springs from a GI only parts company would this even do anything or could of this been a ammo problem, Thanks

The consensus here for some time has been to use original parts where possible. We've had many questions regarding springs and parts from "Other" sources.

Well how would one be able to get GI parts unless its from another GI Rifle. I know the spring i got was exactly the same length and clearly looks identical to the one on the rifle. And you can tell , those other replacement springs dknt look like any spring on a GI rifle, Thanks

There's lots of GI parts available Frank. I mean don't go out of your way for some shiny replacement like Wolff. Most of the time their GI replacement springs are trouble.
