Thanks for the replies. So far I have come up with zero in Ct as far as gunsmiths willing to look at it. JoJo's was the only one who said they do it but have a 3 month backlog. This doesn't sound like someone at my level should attempt.
What does it normally cost to get this done so I have an idea of what I should be charged ? Given the fact that the gun has been sporterized and possibly mixed parts , is it even worth fixing at this point ?

Sorry, I didn't realize you were a smith. I thought you meant you fixed ones you owned. Duh, I should have read your profile...I will give you a call. I am not sure what is involved with shipping a gun ? Do I have to send it through an FFL ? We have all kinda of ridicoulous gun control laws they passed here in Ct and I am not sure what I can and can't do anymore...
