    M1A Springfield Armory Scope Question

I am recent owner of a Springfield Armory 6X40 Government Model 7.62mm scope for my M1Aicon and I am not that familiar with scopes. The elevation and windage adjustments each have 60 clicks. At 100 yards (or meters if you like) about how much vertical and horizontal change will one click make? THANKS

I don't remember the clicks, but the hold over markings bear no relation to any 7,62x51/.308W trajectory that I've tried! Usual increments are either "1/4 MOA" or, as likely, 1/3 MOA. Once zeroed, just dial in ten clicks, shoot a group and see how far it shifts. Best way to know for sure versus advertised deflections.
