Just like they were turned out at the workshops. Hilary in the repro section used to make the one-way-trip stencils although our boxes were done according to the EMER in hard gloss deep bronze green. Same as when they were new from PSMW in Swindon. Every Armourer had a new trouser belt - made from the leather case slings!

I was trying to match the original colour, my photo booth never catches the daylight too well but its not far from the original, out of interest when did the EMER regarding the Gloss deep bronze green come into force or a rough date ?

The last EMER that relates to the repairs of the Tele and accessories was a revamp of the 1966 EMER and that only went on to include the L1A1 tele. So it was certainly gloss deep bronze green from then. But at the unit workshop it could just be like the mortar base p[late and milan firing post et al........... Whatever khaki paint was in the tech stores was used.........
