No4MK1 T AT THE RANGE
Went out to the range and did some more testing with surprising results at least to me. Last test I was firing Canadian Ranger issued softpoint RP ammo with the best 5 shot @ 100 yds grouping around 2.75". I had some older Canadian Ranger issued ball ammo.....MK87 CDN, manufactured in 2003 well the results were a lot different. The first group was a 3 shot @ 100yds and it printed right around 1", that was the best group at 100 yds, the others were not to bad either. I moved out to 200yds and shot a 4 shot group just over 3". I think with sandbags and a proper bench the results will get better. I just wish the vertical post on my MK3 scope had a more defined point...it's kind of flat on top and it's hard to be precise. Happy so far, regards.

No for some odd reason IVI only made MkVIIIZ and 180SP for the rangers.

Sorry I stand to be corrected!!! It's MK8Z CDN, not MK87 CDN.....a typo.

The ammunition is headstamped 8Z, and it is loaded with a boattailed bullet, but it isn't true 8Z ammunition.
