Carbine site to see what's new. I have not seen any postings by Painter777 in months. Has anyone heard from him?

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Good point, no I have not. He was here, then gone for ages and then he returned for a couple of posts...then gone again.

I have been wondering about him too. I saw a pretty Carbine stock in a local gun shop and it made me think of him. I hope everything is OK. Didn't he have some health issues a year or two ago???

I remember that. It was like old home day for a minute and then he was gone again.

He does have heath issues plus it's one of the busy times of the year for his business. At one point I think he was also taking care of his wife as she had also been sick.
